Welcome to our new Web site. Please feel free to let us know what you think about our new Web site here on our blog .
As you may recall, we surveyed our online users last fall and more than 300 members provided us feed back on our old web site. In the redesign of our Web site we were able to take many of your thoughtful suggestions and incorporate them into our new design.
In our Blog survey, over 90% of our members indicated they liked the navigation and layout of our new Web site better than our old site. We owe that success primarily to our members who shared their ideas about how to improve our Web site in our online survey last year. Thanks to everyone who participated in the survey. You helped us create a more member friendly Web site!

The new site looks nice, however, after logging in to access account information, there was no “home” button to get back to the home page. Did I miss it?
Thanks.

Hi Janet,
Thanks for visiting our new Web site. When you are in the home banking area, if you click on the BMI logo in the upper left corner, it will return you to our Web site.
I did notice that when you hit the ‘log off’ link, it does not take you back to our Web site (it returns you to the log in screen). I’ll see if we can fix that. Thanks for pointing this out.

Site looks very familiar – I’m guessing Joomla CMS? We are doing a similar re-design.
Looks great so far – I’ll keep an eye out for anything odd.
Nice job.

Thanks Jim. It is based on a Joomla template (Epic).

Hi Sharon,
Thanks for sharing your concerns. I am going to forward your message to our IT Manager. His group works closely with our data processor vendor and the home banking module is part of that area.
I can share with you that our home banking module has a number of safe guards already built in, including a low threshold for invalid log-in attempts (after the threshold is hit, the system locks the account from online access) and dual authentification security questions for when your account is accessed from a different IP address than you normally use.
Thanks for your kind comments about the new web site design/layout. While the design/functionality of the home banking module is part of the data processing package we purchased, we can and do share member comments with our data processor about how to improve functionality and security.
